各位版友好，這次春季班很幸運拿到CMU ECE和Rice MCS的錄取
背景：算是轉領域，CS必修基本都上過了，目標畢業後找SDE相關工作留在美國，40上下回亞洲發展
以下是我初淺的分析，有誤解的地方再麻煩大家告知
兩間都是規劃唸三學期，且2021 夏季都能實習
CMU MS ECE (Electrical and Computer Engineering)
1. 在科技業的名聲、知名度較高
2. 校友-矽谷校友、台灣和對岸同學都至少是Rice的四倍多
3. 有興趣的computer system相關課程完整且扎實
缺點
1. 課業壓力真的大，不利於找工作實習
Rice MCS (Computer Science)
1. 課業壓力較輕
2. 學校規模較小，找工作內捲小
3. 最後一學期可以part-time，只修3學分，留下時間能全力刷leetcode、準備面試
4. 找工作方面，有不少包括油廠的德州公司能保底
5. 允許在學期間Co-op
缺點
1. 名聲相對較CMU小
2. 校友人數較少
由於同校內捲和在學找工作能投入的時間差異，單純考慮找工作的話，應該是Rice找到大廠的機會較高，若選擇去CMU ECE可能會晚個一到兩年進入到同規模的公司
希望能了解多一兩年的大廠學習經驗 和 CMU的校友、名聲和課程 兩者對於職涯天花板的影響力
